It became popular and had quite impressive sales at that time. Over the years, advanced versions came out that are played to this date. The latest version is the PlayStation 5 or PS5.
Xbox
Originally, Xbox was released in 2001 as another box-like gaming console with a controller. Similar to PlayStation, it gained popularity after its release. Many new versions of Xbox have been out recently, from Xbox 360 to Xbox 1 to Xbox 1X.
