What is the Process of Rescheduling the IELTS Exam?

It is possible for the applicants to change or reschedule their dates of IELTS exam. However, there are certain rules one needs to follow.

  • Rescheduling can only be requested through email and not by any phone calls.
  • Those who reschedule the exam date five weeks before the actual exam get a refund only after deducting the administrative charges.
  • The entire registration fees are charged if anyone requests to reschedule within the five weeks of the IELTS exam.

How to Cancel the IELTS Registration?

If any candidate wants to not appear for the IELTS exam, they can always choose to cancel their application.

Nevertheless, the cancellation time depends on the type of test.

  • Aspirants, who have applied for the paper-based exam, have a cancellation window of five weeks prior to the official date of the exam.
  • Those who applied for the computer-based exam can cancel the application three weeks before the final exam date.

You must note that the IDP will charge an administration fee before refunding the amount. The sum will be refunded back to your bank account used for paying the application fees. Applicants who paid online will get the amount through NEFT.

So far, you have learnt about the dates of the IELTS exam and other details related to it. Register now and book your date if you are an aspirant but haven’t applied yet.
